East Nash Grass

East Nash Grass

Friday, September 25, 2026 - 7:30 PM EDT

East Nash Grass exemplifies the best of what bluegrass has to offer—as being named the 2024 IBMA [International Bluegrass Music Association] New Artist of the Year would suggest. But their breathtaking talent as singers, instrumentalists, and composers is just the beginning. While other acts chase their tail in search of nostalgia, the secret to East Nash Grass lies in their unflinching ability to be themselves.

Yet it’s their irreverent, adventurous, and audacious tendencies as next-gen performers that light a fire under audiences. Their ability to hone this edge was forged in the crucible of a dive bar outside of Nashville, TN that they all but single-handedly put on the (bluegrass) map during their seven-year weekly residency.

After hundreds of sets (and countless late-night jams), through personnel changes, industry changes, and a never-ending string of unprecedented world events, East Nash Grass has coalesced in to a hair-raising ensemble.

Così fan tutte

2026-27 MET Opera Così fan tutte

Saturday, October 3, 2026 - 1:00 PM EDT

The Met: Live in HD season continues with Mozart’s satirical comedy of fickle young love. Phelim McDermott’s “colorful, inventive” (The New York Times) staging, inspired by Coney Island in the 1950s, sets the uproarious story at a boardwalk amusement park, where the two pairs of lovers at the heart of the tale find themselves on one emotional—and literal—thrill ride after another. Soprano Federica Lombardi and mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey sing Fiordiligi and Dorabella, opposite tenor Duke Kim and baritone Andrey Zhilikhovsky as Ferrando and Guglielmo. Bass-baritone Gerald Finley reprises his portrayal of the cynical Don Alfonso, with soprano Ana María Martínez as the witty maid Despina.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds

Saturday, November 7, 2026 - 7:30 PM EST

Kim Wilson, the legendary harmonica virtuoso and frontman of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, is preparing for what may be his most personally meaningful tour yet. The upcoming "A Tribute to Chicago Blues" tour represents a homecoming of sorts for Wilson, who cut his teeth playing alongside the very architects of the Chicago blues sound during the genre's golden era.

The "Tribute to Chicago Blues" tour will feature a mix of classic chestnuts and deeper cuts from the Chicago blues catalog. "There will be a lot more traditional songs in the set," Wilson explains. "We haven't decided exactly how we're going to mix it up yet, but I'm hoping I can do this for a little while, to be honest with you."

However, Wilson will maintain his traditional approach of not using set lists. "I prefer to let the energy of the crowd and the performance dictate the evening's direction.”

Kings of Queen

The Kings of Queen - A Queen Tribute

Friday, November 13, 2026 - 7:30 PM EST

The Kings of Queen are the hottest Queen tribute in the country, if not the world. Given that he’s been dubbed as the reincarnated Freddie Mercury, frontman Emo Alaeddin is quite the spectacle.

Although there may be others, no other Queen tribute comes close to The Kings of Queen.

Equally important to sounding like Queen, the frontman Emo Alaeddin has a striking resemblance to Freddie Mercury.

Over the Rhine

An Acoustic Christmas with Over the Rhine

Wednesday, December 9, 2026 - 7:30 PM EST

One December, not long after Over the Rhine began recording and touring, we were invited to

perform some seasonal songs on a public radio station. We worked up a few carols and

traditional tunes. It actually felt really good and conjured up an unusual mix of feelings from

childhood: innocence, loss, wonder, joy, sadness. I think we were surprised.

People must have tuned into the radio broadcast, because we began receiving inquiries as to

whether we had recorded any of our Christmas songs. In December of 1996 – can it really be

30 years ago? – we recorded and released our first song cycle of some of the Christmas carols

that still haunted us. We included a few original tunes and called our wintry mix The Darkest

Night Of The Year. Folks began snatching up copies and seemed to agree that they hadn’t

heard anything quite like it.

A decade later, in 2006, we released our first full collection of original Christmas/holiday songs

called Snow Angels. What is it about Christmas music and the undeniable gravitational pull it

exerts on some songwriters? So many Christmas songs have already been written. I think we

remain genuinely curious about the ones that haven't yet been written.

Saturday, March 20, 2027 - 1:00 PM EDT

Following his smash-hit company debut with The Hours, composer Kevin Puts returns to the Met with his Pulitzer Prize–winning opera, inspired by the true events of the 1914 Christmas truce. A poignant depiction of shared humanity in the most inhumane circumstances, Puts’s grand, cinematic opera—with a libretto in English, French, and German by Mark Campbell—has been widely acclaimed since its 2011 premiere, hailed as “an overwhelming emotive experience” by The Guardian. The evocative staging by James Robinson takes the audience directly to the battlefields of the Western Front with a star-studded cast, featuring soprano Elza van den Heever and tenors Ben Bliss and Rolando Villazón, conducted by Maestro Dalia Stasevska live from the Met to cinemas worldwide.
